The January meeting of the Logan County Regional Planning Commission has been cancelled.

The January Planning Meeting agenda has changed. The original agenda item regarding the rezoning application (1-RZ-26) near Latham has been temporarily withdrawn.

The proposed developer will be present at a special meeting of the Zoning Committee on January 5th, 7:00pm at the Logan County Courthouse. The public is invited to attend.

We are sad to announce that Blair Hoerbert, the long time Chairman of the Planning Commission, passed away on Christmas day last week. He will be missed and his dedication to the citizens of Logan County have been an inspiration to all of us.

The January meeting of the Logan County Regional Planning Commission will take place on January 7th, at 6:30 pm. The meeting will be held at the Oasis Senior Center in Lincoln.

Items on the agenda will include a request to rezone several parcels west of Latham from agricultural to industrial to allow for the permitting of a data center project. Public notices for the proposal were previously posted in the local newspapers (online).

The public is welcome to attend the meeting and be heard.

The agenda for the December 3rd meeting includes revisions to the solar and wind ordinance, voting on new Public Meetings Officer, Discussion on amending the EZ plan to include residential, and discussion on future data center project.

The public is invited to attend.

The October meeting of the Logan County Planning Commission has been cancelled. We will plan on meeting on November 05, 2025 at the Oasis Senior Center in Lincoln.

The September meeting of the Planning Commission

The September meeting will take place on Wednesday, September 3rd at 6:00.

The August meeting of the Planning Commission is scheduled for August 06, 2025.

The July meeting for the Logan County Regional Planning Commission has been cancelled.

The June Planning Meeting will take place June 05, 2025 at 6:00. The meeting will be at the Oasis Senior Center in Lincoln.

We will be voting on several solar sites.

The Planning Commission will not be meeting in May.

The June meeting is scheduled for June 4th, 2025.

The April meeting of the Logan County Planning Commission is scheduled for April 2, 2025 at the Oasis Senior Center.

There will be a presentation by the GPEDC regarding the Energy Transition Community Grant and the Viper Mine closure. The public is invited to attend.

The March meeting of the Logan County Regional Planning Commission is scheduled for March 05, 2025, at 6:00, Oasis Senior Center in Lincoln.
