The LCRPC is responsible for the establishment and maintenance of the Lincoln/ Logan Enterprise Zone. The Enterprise Zone was established in 2017 and remains in effect thru December of 2031.
The Enterprise Zone is a State designated area, established by the county, in cooperation with local governments, made eligible to receive tax incentives and other benefits designed to stimulate economic activity, employment opportunities, and neighborhood revitalization.
Qualifying businesses are eligible for sales tax exemptions for material purchases, utilized to create or expand business facilities located within the enterprise zone.
Property tax abatements are available in most areas covered by the Enterprise Zone.
Applications from businesses for Enterprise Zone benefits are submitted to the Logan County Zoning Office at enterprisezone@logancountyil.gov.
